ORANGE was the color of choice at Wangaratta Primary School on Friday.

Students dressed in orange and made a gold coin donation to help raise awareness of the Orangutan’s plight.

Grade four student and member of the Wangaratta 4th District Junior Guides, Fiona Schilling, organised the fundraiser after having a close encounter with Orangutans in 2012.

“I went to Bali in 2012 and got to cuddle an Orangutan,” she said.
